Northodox Press

Founded in June 2020, Northodox Press was set up to offer a place for the whole spectrum of northern-based writers to platform their work. Focused on bringing under-represented voices and writers who can’t find a voice elsewhere, we have so far released 25 novels and short fiction collections, mainly in the crime genre, but as of 2023, we are expanding into all fiction. The Press was formed by 3 university friends from the north who struggled to find opportunities to get published after returning home, and we do as much work with students as possible, having already given 3 University talks and with more being lined up for the future.
