Daughter of a builder and a cleaner, journalist Glyn Brown has written about music, books and film for the Guardian, Independent, Sunday Telegraph, Mojo, NME and Melody Maker; her idol Nick Cave, who when they met loathed rock hacks, called her ‘the one good cop’ (he probably revised this once she’d interviewed him for the sixth time). In between she’s been a cat feeder, dog walker, leaflet deliverer and has written marketing copy on everything from tractor tyres to toilet seats.
