BOOK

This special edition of Hummingbirds: a literary salon curated by the87press, celebrates the opening of Roundtable Books’ new space in the Granville Arcade, Brixton. As such this event will feature readings from four poets only, allowing readers to browse the new shelves at one of our favourite independent bookstores in the UK.

With readings by Sabeen Chaudhry (Rimming the Event Horizon), Karenjit Sandhu (young girls! and gestalt), James Goodwin (Fleshed Out For All The Corners Of The Slip), and dove, Christine Kirubi (WILDPLASSEN).

Doors at 7 for a 7:15pm start. Close: 9pm

This event is supported by and organised in collaboration with the University of London Institute in Paris; it is also part of the87press contribution as an official partner of the National Year of Reading 2026.

All proceeds from the sale of books from the87press at this event will go directly to Roundtable to support their Fundraiser.

Limited capacity as we will be joined by a cohort of students from University of London Institute in Paris.
