Banshee Press

Banshee Press is a small independent Irish publisher. We publish a literary journal, Banshee, twice a year, as well as a select list of books. Banshee Press was founded in 2014 by three writers: Laura Cassidy, Claire Hennessy and Eimear Ryan. In 2021, Jessica Traynor joined Banshee Press as poetry editor.

In 2024 and 2025, Banshee Press was selected as the island of Ireland winner in the Small Press of the Year Award at the Nibbies, The Bookseller’s annual publishing awards.
