Scallywag Press

Scallywag Press started publishing in 2019, and we aim to publish memorable and entertaining picture books, chapter books and poetry by both newcomers and established children’s book creators. All our books are illustrated with distinctive artwork.

Our contributors come from all over the world and we sell their books in translation in many languages. The books we select to publish must pass our EEK test – they must involve emotion, empathy and kindness.

We have 4 times been long listed for the Bookseller Small Press Award and our books have won or been shortlisted for many prizes.
